Focus and Scope
ESKALASI: Sharia Economics, Finance, Accounting, Digital, and Islamic Studies is an open-access scientific journal that publishes research articles, conceptual studies, and best practices in five main areas: sharia economics, finance, accounting, digital technology, and Islamic studies. The journal aims to serve as an academic platform that responds to the dynamic development of science, technology, and society from an Islamic perspective.
Sharia Economics covers studies on the theory and practice of sharia-based economics, Islamic economic development, sharia entrepreneurship, Islamic macro and microeconomics, as well as sustainable economics from an Islamic viewpoint.
Finance includes topics such as Islamic financial systems, Islamic capital market instruments, Islamic financial risk management, Islamic fintech, and public and private financial strategies within a sharia framework.
Accounting focuses on Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Government Accounting, Tax Accounting, Environmental Accounting, Audit, Accounting Information Systems, Sharia Accounting, Micro, Small and Medium Entity Accounting.
Digital explores digital transformation in Islamic economics and finance, the use of digital technology in education and da'wah, digitalization of Islamic financial services, big data, AI, blockchain, and digital ethics from an Islamic perspective.
Islamic Studies encompasses the study of the Qur’an and Hadith, classical and contemporary Islamic thought, Islamic philosophy, gender in Islam, interfaith relations, Islamic culture and civilization, and local expressions of Islam.
Although primarily focused on these five areas, ESKALASI also welcomes manuscripts from other relevant fields that contribute to the broader development of Islamic scholarship.
