Plagiarism Policy
ESKALASI: Sharia Economics, Finance, Accounting, Digital, and Islamic Studies upholds academic integrity and is fully committed to preventing and rejecting all forms of plagiarism. Plagiarism is an unethical act that includes copying part or all of someone else’s work without proper citation, as well as self-plagiarism, which is the reuse of one's own previously published work without clear acknowledgment.
As part of our commitment to publication ethics, all manuscripts submitted to ESKALASI are subject to plagiarism screening using detection software (such as Turnitin or equivalent tools). The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%, and even then, the similarities must not originate from a single primary source or from substantial parts of the article. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected outright in cases of serious plagiarism.
ESKALASI firmly opposes all forms of plagiarism, as it undermines trust, credibility, and the advancement of knowledge. Authors found to have committed major plagiarism may face academic sanctions, including article retraction, prohibition from future submissions, and formal notification to the author's affiliated institution.
Through this policy, ESKALASI strives to maintain scientific quality and uphold ethical standards in every publication it disseminates.
