Publication Ethics
ESKALASI: Ekonomi Syariah, Keuangan, Akuntansi, Digital, dan Studi Islam
upholds the principles of scientific publication ethics as a fundamental foundation for maintaining academic integrity. We are committed to promoting honesty, transparency, originality, and responsibility in every stage of the article publication process.
Authors’ Responsibilities
Authors are required to submit original work, free from plagiarism, and to properly cite all referenced sources. They must present data truthfully, without any fabrication or manipulation, and must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously (multiple submission). Unethical practices such as copying part or all of another person’s work without proper citation (plagiarism), falsifying or manipulating research data, including authors who did not contribute significantly to the work (guest authorship), excluding main contributors (ghost authorship), or submitting the same article to multiple journals (double submission) are strictly prohibited by this journal.
Editors’ Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly and objectively, maintaining confidentiality, and avoiding conflicts of interest. Editors must not use information from submitted manuscripts for personal gain.
Reviewers’ Responsibilities
Reviewers must conduct objective and constructive evaluations of manuscripts, maintain confidentiality, and provide helpful feedback. They are strictly prohibited from sharing or using the manuscript content before publication.
Sanctions for Ethical Violations
Violations of publication ethics may result in sanctions, including written warnings and manuscript rejection, temporary bans on submissions to ESKALASI, retraction of published articles, and formal notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions.
By adhering to these ethical standards, ESKALASI aims to be a credible, professional, and trustworthy journal that contributes meaningfully to the advancement of Islamic scholarship both nationally and internationally.
